Puri: In view of the large number of devotees expected to visit Puri during the nine-day long Rath Yatra from June 25, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run 186 special trains to the Pilgrim city.
General Manger of East Coast Railway Umesh Singh informed this at a Press Meet today. He further said besides deployment of 1200 police force, 60 CCTV cameras and two drones will be installed at Puri Railway Station.
Thirty-six (36) additional ticket counters will be set up to facilitate passengers, added Singh.
In view of the Rath Yatra, additional buses will also be pressed into service to and from Puri.
